Asian markets are selling off sharply early in the trading session. Big Japanese exporters are leading the way down. Sony, Mazda, and Toyota are among stocks down by more than 2 percent.
Japan's Nikkei is down 0.9%.
Korea's Kospi is down 1.2%.
Australia's S&P/ASX is down 1.1%.
This follows the biggest one-day sell-off of the year in the U.S. trading session.
