Markets just opened in Asia. Japan, which was closed yesterday for a holiday, is playing catch up to the U.S. market, which spiked after a fiscal cliff deal was reached.
Japan's Nikkei is up 2.8 percent right now. The Nikkei is back to pre-earthquake levels, reports Nikkei.com.
