The news just broke that famous natural gas investor John Arnold is quitting the game.
According to CNBC he's now going to spend time for charitable endeavors and so on.
Meanwhile at the same time, another big natural gas player Chesapeake is getting crushed amid claims of conflict of interest with its CEO.
Conversely, new blood is coming into th market.
Jeff Gundlach has been talking up natural gas. Hugh Hendry is bullish on it. So are lots of other contrarians who are convinced it's different this time.
Old blood out, new blood in.
As one trader we just heard from said in just regarding John Arnold: "That's nuts. Obviously generational bottom for natty is now in."
